Children all around the world enjoy playing with blocks. They can build castles, houses, or whatever else that comes into their little minds. Lincoln logs are popular, as are Megabloks. Legos, however, seem to be the most popular building block for children. Children of all ages can enjoy these blocks as they are available in several sizes so even young children can enjoy them.
Now, these blocks have been taken to a whole new level. There has been a 14k gold lego block created. BrickEnvy has come out with the most expensive Lego block in the world. The brick is made out of 25.65 grams of 14 karat yellow gold. These blinged out blocks come at a hefty price. They sell for $15,000 a piece! These pieces were rumored to have been given out to Lego employees at the Hohenwestedt, Germany factory between 1979-81. The block is available in its original plastic box that has the Lego logo on it. The Lego logo has since changed since the blocks were handed out.
