After months of rumors it is now official that Amanda Kerr and Orlando Bloom are engaged to be married.
Kerr, 27, a Victoria’s Secret model met Bloom, 33, backstage at a lingerie catwalk show in New York back in 2006 and the couple began dating a year later.
In recent weeks there has been speculation of a proposal but both Kerr and Bloom have been tightlipped about their relationship. However, Bloom’s publicist told Entertainment Tonight that they are engaged, whilst Kerr’s publicist informed People Magazine.
Kerr is now one of the 10 world’s highest paid models and has decided to pursue an acting career.
Both families are said to be thrilled for the couple and excited about the prospect of a wedding.
