On Friday, November 5, "True Beauty" host, Vanessa Minnillo went to Mexico to celebrate her 30th birthday, and was seen flashing her new engagement ring she got recently from her boyfriend, Nick Lachey!

Jessica Simpon’s ex husband, Nick Lachey has finally popped the question to former Miss Teen USA Vanessa, with whom he’s been dating since 2006. The engagement announcement was made via Lachey's Twitter account, "If anyone's heard the rumours of my engagement they are absolutely true. Vanessa and I couldn't be happier. Thanks for all the love," tweeted the American singer.

Speaking about Vanessa’s ring, we should hand it to Nick, who sure knows how to pick engagement rings. The guy’s shelled out on £77,000 diamond ring ($125,000 USD)! Designed by Bader & Garrin, the engagement ring features a platinum-set Asscher-cut Diamond Rings with trapezoids on the side. Jewellery expert Michael O'Connor said that the centre stone is approximately 4 carats, estimating the ring's cost at a whopping $125,000. "The platinum setting... makes this a classic ring, but the trapezoid diamonds give it a modern twist," O'Connor added.

'We're excited and incredibly happy about our engagement and we look forward to a wonderful future together,' the lovebird Scorpios, who share the same Nov. 9 birthday, said in a statement to America's Us Magazine.
